Congratulations to newly-promoted EComps. Graeme Hutchinson (PGSwB) and Roger Haylett ; and to newly appointed EComps. Glyn Hall and Steve Williams (PAGDC). They (except Roger who was away on a cruise) were accompanied by 41 other Derbyshire Companions at a splendid Annual Royal Arch Investiture at Freemasons’ Hall. The lunch which followed at the Connaught Rooms was a vast improvement on previous visits and enjoyed by all. A great turn out all round, but especially from Dore and Burton to support their own appointees. It was even worth the six am start from Derby Masonic Hall. Thanks to EComp Philip Bowler for driving (not literally, thank goodness) the coach trip. There was even (almost) too much wine.
