As ever, Installed Principals’ Chapter has an interesting and unique programme for the forthcoming year (and more) and its Installation meeting in June will feature a superb event to commemorate the Tercentenary of the Craft and underline the indissoluble link between Craft and Chapter.
On the last Tuesday in January (31st) the eminent speaker is Comp. John Belton whose talk is entitled “Defining Pure Antient Masonry and The Royal Arch’s Role in it”. This meeting, as are all meetings of the Chapter, is open to ALL companions, not just Installed Principals. Another not to be missed meeting.
The Installation meeting in June is really special. The Installation itself is quite short as all members are Installed Principals. It will be followed by a demonstration from the Cheshire team of the Tunnah Manuscript – a demonstration of a mid 18th century working in costume (yes it predates even Justice). This was prepared by our own the late Neville Barker Cryer for Cheshire and this will be the first presentation of it outside Cheshire. Put this date in your diaries now – Friday 30 June at 6pm in Derby
