Banner Dedication ceremony 11th Dec 2014
Twenty Acting Provincial RA Officers, together with EComp Allan Collier, PGStB acting as 2nd Prov Grand Principal, led the Grand Superintendent EComp Charles Cunnington into the Temple. The Provincial Principals took the three Chairs and the ceremony of Dedicating a new set of Banners was then jointly conducted in splendid style by Companions of the Chapter and the Provincial team.
Regretfully, the 2nd Provincial Grand Principal, EComp John McDonald and the Provincial Grand Scribe Nehemiah, Stephen Hardie were both unable to attend the meeting. Unbeknown to them, their wives had booked ‘surprise’ birthday and wedding anniversary celebrations.
The meeting was followed by an excellent Festive Board, greatly enhanced by everybody being satisfied that they had participated in and witnessed a most enjoyable evening.
The Grand Superintendent thanked the Chapter for so generously presenting him with a cheque for £100 – to be donated to a cause of his choosing: The Brain Tumour Trust.
