At 12 noon on the 11th November 2015, at Freemasons’ Hall, Great Queen Street London, there will be the next Regular Convocation of Supreme Grand Chapter.
This is an especially important occasion because it will mark the change of the current Second Grand Principal who has completed 10 years in office. ME Companion George P Francis will step down at this meeting and E Companion Russell J Race, who is currently the Metropolitan Grand Superintendent, will be installed in his place.
It is highly likely (but not certain) that the meeting will be led by the First Grand Principal, HRH The Duke of Kent.
Our Grand Superintendent is anxious that you should be fully aware of this change in leadership of our order and, in view of the fact that this is a relatively rare event, is hoping that you might wish to seriously consider taking the opportunity of witnessing this Installation and enjoying the post-meeting lunch at the Connaught Rooms in the company of fellow Derbyshire Royal Arch Masons.
It is hoped that enough Derbyshire R.A. Masons will wish to stay for lunch to enable a table to be filled but of course attendance at the ceremony does not require that you stay for the meal. Although it is not necessary to pre-book your place at the meeting it is necessary to pre-book for lunch; please inform the APGSE if you will be attending either the Installation or the following lunch by clicking on the link below.
