This year’s Provincial team completed its year of Ceremonial Visits at Okeover Chapter on 25 February when over 20 of the Officers witnessed the exaltation of Bro. Richard Paul Eaton. An excellent ceremony by all who took part was followed by an excellent meal at Lumb Farm. This was greatly enjoyed by everyone – as can be seen from the photos. I am assured that no-one noticed when Ian Clark’s wine was spilled all over the table! The ceremony was attended by 44 companions, who heard the proposition to support three local organisations (Amber Valley First Responders, St.Andrew’s Church, Swanwick and St.Matthew’s Church, Pentrich) enthusiastically supported to the tune of £200 each. And the future looks bright with two more candidates for exaltation approved. All in all a fine evening.
