St. Oswald Chapter’s Installation evening was quite an evening for our recently retired Deputy Grand Superintendent Tony Higton. Not only was he very busy acting as both Director of Ceremonies and Assistant Director of Ceremonies, he also had the work of receiving the Grand Superintendent, his Deputy, the Second and Third Principals, and a good contingent of Provincial officers.
The Installation of the new MEZ and Haggai (E.Comps Chris Greenhough and Derek Hewitt respectively) went without a hitch and the outgoing MEZ was ably assisted by E.Comp. Frank Dawson. A performance the Chapter can be very pleased with.

Then just as Tony started to relax a little at the risings, lo and behold he was called centre stage by the Grand Superintendent, who gave his great thanks for all the work Tony had done for the Province and especially as his Deputy. He expressed his and our regrets at loosing Tony as his Deputy due to ill health, but was pleased to see Tony looking much better and full of his usual vigour. He then made him a gift as a small token of appreciation for his dedication to the Royal Arch.
