The outgoing Most Excellent Grand Superintendent, Charles Cunnington, made his final official visit to an exaltation in the Province, at Fairfield Chapter in Long Eaton on Tuesday 19th March. The highlight of the evening was of course the exaltation of Comp. Dean Jackson, which was carried out by the Fairfield team in a superb manner.
The Grand Superintendent was accompanied by the Second and Third Provincial Principals and a goodly number of Provincial Officers, Past and Present. As you might imagine the Festive Board was an emotional event. The Long Eaton Chapters had provided Long Eaton Masonic Benevolent Association with a Fairground Horse (Luke Forest’s amazing work) named Charles, to present to a Children’s Charity. LEMBA’s gift to the Grand Superintendent was to allow him the choice of charity.
