After 2 years and 8 months, Provincial Grand Chapter at last held a “normal” Annual Convocation last Saturday. The meeting in the temple held 135 Companions, including nearly 40 visitors from other Provinces. There was a degree of social-distancing with every third chair being empty. After a drinks break, luncheon followed for 95.
The new Second and Third Principals were obligated and confirmed in office, and the First Appointments and Promotions from 2020 and from March this year, were all confirmed; and those present were invested.
Our hard-working Deputy Grand Superintendent was unfortunately absent having thrown a positive lateral flow test first thing on Saturday morning. You were missed, but thanks from everyone for taking the test before travelling.
