At a special Installation meeting of Round Table Chapter on Thursday 24th January, the Grand Superintendent unveiled a portrait of EComp. John McDonald prior to it being hung in Dore Masonic Hall. A few McDonald secrets were revealed to the many companions present, including around twenty Supreme Grand Chapter officers and a delegation of acting Provincial Officers.

In responding to the presentation John managed the difficult task of shocking the Grand Superintendent into stunned silence by presenting the Provincial Grand Chapter with three superb Principals’ sceptres – the sceptres being superb, I make no comment on the Principals.

It was a truly wonderful evening. The work in the Installation was of a very high standard and the festive board a joyous occasion with good food and fellowship, and two emotional McDonald brothers. And what a kind and generous gesture from a well-respected Past Provincial Principal and true gentleman.
